(Wood & Metal)

Seeking experienced wood stairs and railings installers and metal products installers (fences, trellis, balconies, stairs, canopies, walkways, railing, among others). Must have carpentry and/or metal experience. Licenses are required to work in Dade, Broward, and/ or Palm Beach Counties. Must be able to communicate in English.

  • Develop and execute a sales plan aligned with company goals and objectives, targeting key accounts, and customer retention.

    Develop and build customer relationships.

    Complete color selection form for Estimating with details of option requirements.

    · Technical knowledge and understanding of GSC’s product offerings specifications, and pricing.

    Develop and execute needs assessment for customers and prospects through proper research and utilizing all resources available.

    Regularly review reports of permits issued to uncover new projects/prospects and follow up on all permit leads with a phone calls, emails and or site visits.

    Understand competitor’s products and services; strengths and weaknesses. Establishes systematic customer contact to provide on-going information, by creating and maintaining territorial listing, noting classification of customer and frequency of calls.

    · Personally respond to inquiries, request for information, requests for quotes, best products to recommed, etc.

    · Request new options, and/or pricing updates due to changes in the field.

    · Review contract pricing and/or schedule of values prior to approval.

    · Request Engineering and shop drawings, as needed.

    · Assist Engineering with customer drawing request and specifications.

    · Add Cost Margin to Project bids for Director of Sales and New Business.

    · Request samples for customers.

    · Provide direct support to customers, to assist in resolving issues,

    · Develop a full understanding of the contract requirements and work diligently with customer and all departments to deliver contractual obligations.

    · Proactively report non-conforming activities and take positive actions to generate improvements, recommendations and initiate solution to minimize costs and achieve customer satisfaction.

    · Develop a written weekly/monthly call plan and weigh opportunities and future growth potential of the respective accounts.

    · Work collaboratively and constructively with colleagues to successfully implement new initiatives, policies and guidelines and actively contribute to continuous improvement.

    Follow all established internal control processes, and comply with all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.

    Develops a deep understanding of the market and trends that impacts on sales and services.

    Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

    Represents Company at trade association meetings and events.

    Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related major from an accredited university.

    · Five (5) years of combined and progressive experience in sales and marketing management. Long cycle product sales experience.

    · A combination of Construction, Manufacturing and Installation industries experience is highly preferred.

    Strong customer service oriented; team player, precise and effective are key characteristics for this role.

    MS Word, Excel, Power Point and ability to learn in house programs.

    Ability to make good judgments and remain calm and considerate under difficult situations.

    Organization & time management with a strong attention to detail; and must be dependable and reliable with a high degree of trust and confidentiality.

    Excellence in oral and written communications and bilingual English/Spanish a must.

    High level of business acumen, able to link new opportunities to clients based on trends in budget, expenditures, market, risks and business drivers.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Product Solutions Specialist (Sales Representative) is a key position within the company with responsibilities ranging from acquiring and retaining customers to supporting the business in its growth and expansion plans. Acts as the liasion between all departments of the company to ensure that customers are informed of progress and changes. This position works closely with the Field Representatives.
