QUALITY MANAGEMENT

GSC’s Quality Management System (QMS) consists of our set of policies, processes and procedures required for planning and execution (Production / Development / Service) in the core business area of our organization. Our QMS integrates the various internal processes within the organization and intends to provide a process approach for project execution. Our QMS enables us to identify, measure, control and improve the various core business processes that will ultimately lead to improved customer satisfaction.

Our mission, “We are committed to customer satisfaction by providing quality products and service on time, guaranteed”, becomes a reality from order entry through design, manufacturing, servicing, and installation, when all activities are controlled in accordance with the commitments of the QMS and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Auditors from BSI, Inc., the world leading quality management system registrar, visited General Stair Corporation (GSC) in August 2007 and spent several days conducting a rigorous audit against the ISO 9001:2008 standard. GSC successfully passed the audit, becoming the first stair and rail contractor in the US homebuilding industry to be ISO 9001:2008 certified. Achieving ISO certification confirms that the company has implemented the necessary internal procedures to meet obligations for best practices in quality. Since then GSC has successfully re-certified every other year, in 2018, we received the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, thus confirming that the company keeps respecting best practices and upholding quality.
